The mill construction company was founded in 1878 by Franz-Anton Wolking on Bakumer Straße in Calveslage. Even today, now in the fourth and fifth generation, the Wolking company is a family business and firmly rooted in the region. Over the past decades, the company has developed from a small artisanal mill construction business to a medium-sized partner for manufacturers of pet food, petfood, premixes and raw material handling companies. At its location in Calveslage, Wolking today employs about 90 people on an office and production area of 8,000 m². The customer base is located in Wolking's home region, the Oldenburger Münsterland, which is considered the center of the German finishing industry. Further customers are located all over Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, the Scandinavian countries as well as product and project related in other European countries. The main focus of Wolking lies in the planning, manufacturing, delivery and assembly of single components up to turnkey plants for producers of compound and mineral feed, petfood, and the processing of renewable raw materials as well as bulk materials in Europe. Here, the family-owned company stands for high product quality and innovative as well as practice-oriented processes. In addition to the animal feed industry, Wolking's customers include companies in the fields of raw material storage, grain handling, port handling, bulk handling, wood pelleting, vegetable oil production, and oilseed processing.
